A packed house at the Seneca Allegany Casino for the Live To Rock Tour 2022. The there bands included Quiet Riot opening the night followed by Warrant and headlined the night was Skid Row. These bands brought the house down with some solid Rock N’ Roll music. This was a great venue to welcome the tour. The sound was up nice and loud with great lighting and not a bad seat in the house. From the employees to the security and everyone that worked the event, they all had great attitudes and made everyone feel welcome with their great hospitality. Two thumbs up from this guy. I would definitely recommend checking out a show/concert at the Seneca Allegany Casino or any of the Seneca Casinos.
Quiet Riot started things off for the night with a bang with their set. It is always awesome watching Rudy Sarzo go off on his bass. These guys have gone through line up changes with Rudy being the longest member of the band since joining them in 1978 with a couple of leaves to join some other great bands. Quiet Riot fit their hit songs in on a 30 minute set. They sounded great and got the crowd pumped for the following bands.
Warrant was next up on the list. They played a solid set with vocalist Robert Mason taking over the stage. Warrant was missing a couple of their original members of the band (on this tour) but still put on a killer show. Since their debut album titled “Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich” in 1989, they have recorded 9 studio albums with their newest album in 2017 titled “Louder Harder Faster”. Warrant has had some huge hits including Down Boys, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, Sometimes She Cries, Heaven and Cherry Pie which is one their biggest hits.
Closing out the night was the powerful group Skid Row. With all of us remembering the band from the 80s with lead singer Sebastian Bach (departing from the band in 1996) with his killer vocals. The new singer of the band is Erik Gronwall. Erik won the Swedish Idol TV reality show in 2009. With the addition of Erik to Skid Row, I think this is what has been missing and the final completion of the band. Erik puts on an amazing performance with energetic stage presence and his voice range is just amazing. It sure does bring back the vibes and sounds of the original Skid Row sound. They left us wanting more. Warrant has held it together with some original members. David “The Snake” Sabo (guitar), Rachel Bolan (guitar), Scotti Hill (bass) and drummer Rob Hammersmith joining the band in 2010. I am so glad that Skid Row is back and solid as ever. Check out their newest music video “ Tear It Down “ which is also a song off of their upcoming album “The Gangs All Here” being released this October.
